Vanishing Landscapes and Found Objects

Nature reclaims and reassembles abandoned architecture and discarded objects. Through the passage of time and exposure to the elements, these objects are transformed into creations of beautiful colors, patterns, and textures. The reclaimed object may be an abstraction or a visual statement documenting the power of nature to possess and prevail over man-made things. Eventually, these ruins vanish from our landscape. I am fascinated and inspired by the art created by nature and I use photography to capture the unexpected beauty that emerges during this process.
